The unofficial start of the cottage season is among us and there are so many fun things to do in Halifax this long weekend as we welcome back the warm weather and longer days.
#1 – Jam out to Live music at The Coldstream Clear Distillery
Head over to the Coldstream Clear Distillery in Dartmouth Crossing where they just launched the brand-new Coldstream Lager, this Saturday from 2-5 and listen to live music by Darren Howse. Jam out with him to tunes from the 50s until now, from soul, folk & country, to alternative rock!
#2 – Take a stroll on the Halifax Waterfront and check out the new murals
Go for a stroll on the Halifax waterfront boardwalk and check out the new murals located near the Mariott.
#3 Have a Laugh at the YukYuks comedy show
Enjoy a night or two of laughs at the Basement of the Shoe on Argyle Street in Halifax this Friday and Saturday at 8pm for a stand-up comedy show starring BC’s voted funniest women Lori Ferguson-Ford! Buy your tickets for this event HERE.
#4 – Get Some fresh air at a Provincial Park
Check out one or more of these 7 provincial parks that open this long weekend where you can go fishing, kayaking, camping and more! Only one of them is in the HRM but this weekend could be the perfect opportunity to go on that day trip you’ve been meaning to take.

The fair is in town! They are currently set up in the lot on 219 Main Street in Dartmouth until May 21st. If you love amusement rides and games, then this is the event for you!
