Your Halifax Mooseheads have added 20-year-old forward Ethan Larmand to the roster after he cleared waivers in the OHL on Wednesday.
He’s from Midland, Ontario has been a member of the Sudbury Wolves since the team made him the 26th overall pick in the OHL’s 2019 Priority Selection Draft.
The 6-foot, 185-pound centreman scored 62 points and added 183 penalty minutes in 169 career games with Sudbury.
His acquisition fills the Herd’s vacant overage roster position as he joins forward Brody Fournier and defenceman David Moravec as the three 20-year-old players on the team.
Halifax has been the CHL’s Number One ranked team for the past four weeks.
The newest member of the Moose arrived in Halifax late Wednesday night and will be in the lineup tonight when the Mooseheads host Baie-Comeau in a showdown of the QMJHL’s top two teams at Scotiabank Centre at 7pm. for the first Student Night in Moose Country.
