If you’re not a fan of internet fads pseudo-diagnosing you then it’s time to rejoice because the short answer is: NO.
There was a study done in 2016 making its rounds around the internet again these days that aligns the traits of those with anti-social behaviours with having a preference for consuming things like black coffee, dark chocolate, and gin and tonics – in other words, if you like it bitter you might be bitter.
There were other contributing factors to this behavioral study such as intensity of eye contact among other behavioural, developmental and biological factors. Showing traits of potential anti-social behaviour does not inherently mean that enjoying black coffee makes you a psychopath, in fact it is more likely that this means psychopaths tend to prefer things like black coffee. Think of it in these terms, all fire trucks are typically red, but a red truck is not always a fire truck.
It’s worth noting that I happen to love both black coffee and dark chocolate… but that’s besides the point.
