Brooke MacArthur draws inspiration for writing from Taylor Swift. She admires Swift’s ability to take personal experiences and craft them in to songs that people can relate to. That’s what MacArthur has done in her latest single “Good Like Summertime”. Inspired by growing up in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, MacArthur used her picturesque surroundings to develop a story of falling in love in a beach setting. ~Brooke MacArthur
