Former Halifax Sportscaster Kenzie Lalonde has just wrapped up her first season behind the microphone calling the play-by-play for the Professional Women’s Hockey League on TSN.
I was texting with Kenzie the other day and she says, “Broadcasting the PWHL inaugural season was a dream come true.”
She was glad to be along for the ride during this magical year of women’s hockey calling the games with Cheryl Pounder her broadcast partner.

Kenzie got her first play-by-play experience with Eastlink Community TV and was the first female to call a game in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League in March of 2021.

Keep up the great work on TSN my friend, we’ll be watching and are proud of you here in Moose Country, Kenzie!
