You can roll your compost bin out to the curb each week starting this weekend across the Halifax Regional Municipality.
The summer weekly green cart collection service will be in effect from Saturday, June 29th until the end of September.
Collection services can begin as early as 7 a.m., so it’s a good idea to place materials curbside the evening before collection day.
The last day for HRM’s weekly green cart collection is Friday, September 27th. Bi-weekly green cart collection will resume on Monday, September 30th.
