And we were surprised that so many people were willing to SHARE their Hidden Gems!! I mean, we’re not complaining… 😉
We received all kinds of calls and texts, and here is the list of the GEMS that were given a shout out:
This hidden gem was mentioned MULTIPLE times for the ‘best cinnamon buns ever’, beer cheese bread that’s ‘like to die for’! Herb and garlic bread that is ‘outrageously delish’! And egg salad sandwiches on their herb and garlic bread, which is ’10 out of 10 good’.

From a listener: “You gotta try the sticky bun bagel at Izzy’s Bagels on the Bedford Highway (I suggest calling ahead to order as they ALWAYS sell out). They also make a French toast one that is amazeballs as well”

A one stop shop with great prices!
While we’ve been told they have the best ice cream sandwiches, a listener also said, “very time I get one I have people ask where it’s from. Jubilee junction the convenient store makes taco in a bag and it is to die for!”
After trying the cheesecakes at Splurge, a listener said they “wont have a cheesecake anywhere else!”
The sourdough bread here is worth the drive!
