A man died in Halifax Police custody.
The 25-year-old was going through a mental health crisis Saturday night in Fairview.
When police arrived, the man got aggressive and was tased, he was then put in handcuffs and an ambulance was called.
Police say the man’s condition got worse in custody, paramedics were called and the man was pronounced dead.
An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
The incident is now in the hands of the Serious Incident Response Team.
