A man is facing a slew of charges including attempted murder after stabbings in the community.
RCMP say it happened Wednesday afternoon at a home on Coach Rd in Millbrook.
The 40-year-old suspect stabbed and robbed a 64-year-old man before stabbing a 41-year-old woman, giving them both serious injuries before they were sent to hospital.
All three know each other and are from Truro.
The suspect then drove away in the male victim’s vehicle and robbed a gas station close by.
He was found shortly after on Hwy 102 near exit 10, crashed into a ditch.
When arrested, he was carrying two knives on him.
He has been charged with:
- Attempt to Commit Murder (two counts)
- Aggravated Assault (two counts)
- Assault with a Weapon (two counts)
- Uttering Threats (two counts)
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (two counts)
- Robbery (two counts)
- Failure to Comply with a Probation Order (four counts)
The suspect will appear in court Thursday.
