We found out on the weekend that the Halifax Mooseheads faceoff against the Drummondville Voltigeurs in Round 1 of the 2025 QMJHL Playoffs for the Gilles Courteau Trophy.
Games 1 and 2 will be on the road in Drummondville facing Bridgewater’s Luke Woodworth, this Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th.
Game 3 will be here in Moose Country on Tuesday, April 1st for the 2-3-2 series, 2 in Drummondville, 3 in Halifax and 2 back in Drummondville if necessary.
Halifax is the youngest Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League team in 50 years with no 19-year-olds and dressing 11 rookies per game, so to make it to the playoffs is pretty huge!
