Another milestone in the expansion of the Halifax Infirmary.
The first two of four tower cranes have arrived at the site.
More updates are coming soon on the construction of the $7.4 billion acute care tower, according to Health Minister Michelle Thompson.
It will take a week to erect the first two cranes, depending on weather.
The other two cranes will arrive in July, they’ll be up to 105 metres high.
The tower is expected to open in 2031.
