A stretch of sticky weather is coming to parts of the province this week.
There’s a heat warning in effect for Digby, Annapolis, and Kings Counties Monday through Thursday.
Maximum daytime temperatures could get up to 33 degrees Celsius but will feel closer to 40 with the humidity.
Environment Canada says the hottest days will be Tuesday and Wednesday.
Little relief is expected at night with elevated overnight temperatures.
The forecaster also says that the alert will likely be expanded to much of the mainland.
