An uptick in passengers on the ‘CAT ‘ferry.
Bay Ferries says bookings on the Yarmouth-to-Maine vessel are up 37 percent over the last month.
That’s an increase of 9,200 passengers.
So far in 2025, nearly 34,000 have booked travel on the ‘CAT.’
That’s down about 7,100 compared to this time last year.
Bay Ferries says that’s because of a significant drop in Canadian bookings.
CEO Mark Wilson says they’re holding close to last year in American passengers, as travel into Nova Scotia remains strong.
