
Halifax police say two restaurants and two store employees are facing stiff fines for breaking COVID-19 protocols
Police received reports over the weekend the businesses were failing to adhere to the act.
Each restaurant was handed a ticket, which carries a more than $11,000 fine.
Police say two tickets for more than $2,400 were given to employees at the store in Halifax after they were observed not wearing masks while working.
The restaurants were not named.
