This week we highlight Murphy with the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter for Furbaby Friday on Hot Country 103.5fm.
While the vet may have called him morbidly obese, we call it all the more to love!
Meet Murphy, the 20lbs kitty currently calling Bide Awhile his home. This guy is as full of personality as they come – he’ll hold a conversation with you, isn’t shy to demand attention, and you can always tell just what he’s feeling by the look on his face.
While we do love all the extra cuddly softness that Murphy has to offer, he is currently on a weight loss plan to bring him down to a more reasonable number on the scale. Due to his current weight, he also requires some bi-daily pain management for his arthritis (gabapentin).
Murphy is now ready to find a home where he can be the king of the castle and rule over his new servants. He’s looking for a home with no other pets and one that will continue to help him achieve his weight loss goals.
