The Antigonish County District RCMP has arrested a man wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.
Police say the 46-year-old Pictou County man faced multiple charges in relation to weapons, assault, threats, and failure-to-comply offences.
He was taken into custody on Saturday and now faces an additional charge for resisting arrest.
Sergeant Kim Hillier says it was an extensive investigation and tips from the community were an important factor.
The accused has appeared in court and remains in custody.
