A New Brunswick man has been charged with multiple firearms offences after a traffic stop in Nova Scotia.
An RCMP officer stopped an Audi A5 on Highway 102 in Enfield for having a tinted front passenger window — which is illegal in that province — on August 29th just before 7:30 p.m.
After smelling marijuana, they searched the car and driver.
That resulted in the seizure of cannabis, a loaded 9mm handgun and cash.
A 32-year-old man from Saint John was arrested.
The accused appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Tuesday. He remains in custody and is due to appear in court again on September 23rd.
