On Hot Country 103-5 mornings with Jody & Melody we shared with you on your Country Catch Up that Lainey Wilson will be the first woman to host the CMAs solo since Reba McEntire hosted back in 1991! If it was up to Lainey, she’d turn the CMA Awards into a good-natured roasting. We love that! 🙂
From an interview with RollingStone Nashville Now Lainey said, “I tried to get them to let me do it last year and they were like, ‘whoa, whoa, whoa, that’s too far’ But I go way back with these people. Let me make fun of Luke Combs, please.”
Lainey co-hosted last year’s show with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning and wants to keep that same playful tone this time around.
The 59th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 19th on ABC.
AND Luke Bryan shared that two of his dogs got sprayed by a skunk, while they were out on a deer hunting trip. He asked fans for suggestions on removing the smell, and of course, they delivered.
Hot Country 103.5 listener Amanda texted us at 902-425-1035 with her ‘Skunk Smell Removal’ tip, texting “Hey guys to get rid of the skunk smell it’s peroxide, dawn, dish soap, or sunlight, dish soap, and baking soda. Mix it together paste and coat your animal into it. It’s the only thing that works. I tried the tomato juice till my dog was pink and the other stuff that I told you was the only thing that actually neutralize the smell”
Luke Bryan gave an update and said, quote, “Well. Let me say this. When I ask the fans for help. Lord. All stepped up with suggestions. Thank y’all. The pups are fine. They are officially back in the house.”
