A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed on Cunard Street last night around 7:30 in Halifax. The victim, a 33 year old man, was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. Anyone with information is being asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.

The provincial government has informed Stock Transportation that their services are no longer needed to drive children to & from school in the Halifax region starting next year. This ends a 10 year contract between Stock & the former Halifax Regional School Board. Education Minister Zach Churchill says this change was a long time coming.

Plans to update infrastructure at Lawrencetown Beach were unveiled at a community meeting this week. The plans include building changing rooms, running toilets, a lifeguard building, wheelchair accessible areas & more. Dozens of people from the area attended the meeting & are pleased with the plans.
