On Hot Country mornings with Jody & Melody we shared with you on your Country Catch Up another #1 for Luke Combs!! Luke Combs just got his 19th #1 song on “Billboard’s” Country Airplay chart with “Back in the Saddle”. It’s his 18th #1 as a co-writer. The only one he didn’t write was “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman.
“Back in the Saddle” is expected to appear on Luke’s sixth studio album, which is due sometime early next year. If you haven’t seen the video yet, it’s pretty epic.
Up next we told you that Riley Green said his dream duet partner would be George Strait. Riley was doing a panel at the Grammy Museum when he was asked why he hasn’t done a duet with George yet?

Last but not least, we shared with you that Keith Urban just wrapped his High and Alive Tour and he received a very special birthday present that actually brought him to tears. It was given to him by one of Keith’s openers, Chase Matthew who presented Keith with a custom guitar titled “The Rise of the Phoenix.” ~ Māori-inspired piece designed by artist Sam Mangakahia, who’s also created guitars for Post Malone and Jelly Roll!! The guitar is ‘breathtaking’ and the story behind it is beautiful!!
