Police have charged two men in relation to a robbery that occurred this weekend in Halifax.
It took place just before midnight on Saturday at the Irving at at 2499 Robie Street.
Police say the men took smokes and cash but were arrested not far from the store.
Meantime, police report the store employee was assaulted during the altercation and treated for minor injuries.
Scott Lawrence Dupperon, 31, and Joseph Bernard Sebastien Laporte, 33, are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday to face robbery charges.
