Halifax is ready to rock at the 2025 Canadian Curling Trials.
Over the next week, the country’s best curlers will be vying to represent Canada at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
Eight women’s and men’s teams will compete at the Scotiabank Centre, starting Saturday with a round robin. The winner of each division will represent Canada in Italy in February.
According to Curling Canada, for the first time in Trials history, it will feature a best-of-three final. “After a single round-robin draw, the top three teams will reach the playoffs, with second place playing third in a semifinal, and first place going straight to the final.”
Reigning world champion Rachel Homan and 2006 Olympic champ Brad Gushue will be among those battling for a spot. Click here for the draw schedule.
Just a stone’s-throw away from the matches will be ‘The Patch’ at the Halifax Convention Centre with live entertainment and big screens showing every shot.
The Canadian Curling Trials take place November 22-30.
