Your Halifax Thunderbirds Home Opener is Friday night in The Nest!
The Thunderbirds will host the newly relocated Oshawa FireWolves who relocated from Albany, New York in the off-season as there are now seven Canadian teams and seven American teams in the National Lacrosse League.

It’s great to see the community support for the team grow since moving to Halifax in 2019 from Rochester, New York.
In the early days of the franchise there were anywhere from 4,000 to 5,000 fans in the stands to now having over 10,000 fans in “The Nest” at most games.

The Thunderbirds are coming off of their most successful season ever in franchise history going to the semi-finals finals of the National Lacrosse League in May of this past Spring.

It promises to be another exciting season and I cannot wait to “Feel The Thunder” in “Nest Nation” this Friday night, December 5th at 7pm as I begin my second season behind the Thunderbirds microphone as the Thunderbirds Announcer.
