Early Saturday afternoon, Nova Scotia Power is reporting multiple power outages throughout the province.
The Cape Breton Highlands area power outage has affected over 2,000 customers with a restoration time estimated at 7:45 p.m. from trees on a line.
The Eskasoni and surrounding area has over 3,000 customers affected with the estimated restoration time at 5:30 p.m. The cause is being investigated.
While another outage in the Margaretsville area that affected nearly 1,500 residences has been restored.
