The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame is redesigning their hockey section, which will feature a new exhibit honouring Cole Harbour’s own # 87 Sidney Crosby.
As part of the display, there will be hundreds of pucks surrounding Sid’s dinged-up old family dryer with puck marks from growing up.
Bruce Rainnie, who’s Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame president and CEO, says fans will have the chance to be part of the display this time around through their Puck Pursuit.’
There is a total of 654 pucks that you can get – one for each regular season NHL goal Sid has scored so far in his incredible career.

Each puck costs $50 and the money will help support the redevelopment of the Hall of Fame’s exhibits.
A few special milestone numbers are being held from the sale just for now.
The only puck numbers you can’t purchase are the numbers a special one, 87 they are going to give Sid that one, and then 100, through 600, they’re going to put those up as special auction later this year.
Sidney Crosby still has lots of goals left to score, and Hall of Fame is counting on that to happen, so they can expand.
The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame hasn’t yet set a grand reopening date, but it’s hoping to open soon.
