A fisherman has died near St. Peter’s after being fatally injured on board a ship.
The Nova Scotia RCMP said the call initially came in at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to a statement.
The Labour Department said in an email that they are now leading the investigation into the incident, alongside the medical Examiner Service.
But the department would not give any more details because the investigation is ongoing, they said.
They said they offered their deepest condolences to the worker’s family.
