Your Halifax Thunderbirds are off to the National Lacrosse League FINALS for the first time in franchise history with a 15-11 win over the Georgia Swarm in The Nest Sunday night on Mother’s Day and also on the anniversary that the Halifax Mooseheads won the President Cup on May 10th, 2013 on home ice.
Halifax now faces the Toronto Rock in the all Canadian National Lacrosse League final starting this Friday in Toronto with Game 2 here in Halifax this Sunday, May 17th at 7pm on the long weekend.
Tickets for season ticket members go on sale today (Monday) at noon with general public tickets on sale at 2pm this afternoon.
What a historical night in Halifax!
