Your Halifax Thunderbirds fell 12-7 in The Nest to the Toronto Rock back on Sunday night, the Rock are 2026 National Lacrosse League Champions.
Toronto has won the National Lacrosse League Trophy seven times now, this was their first since 2011.
This was Halifax’s most successful season since the franchise moved from Rochester in 2019.
It was a sold-out loud crowd of 10,889 in Nest Nation in the all Canadian final.

We had an all-star cast of Nova scotia stars there including Jonathan Torrens – “J Rock” from the Trailer Park Boys who sounded the siren, Enfield’s Classified performed at the half time show and Heather Rankin who sang O Canada with Nest Nation.

Thanks to our Thunderbirds for making Halifax and the Maritimes proud of a season and playoffs to remember!
