Wednesday night in the nation’s capital the Montreal Victoire blanked the Ottawa Charge 4-0 in Game 4 winning the series 3 games to 1 and win their first Walter Cup, the first for a Canadian based league team.
New Glasgow, Nova Scotia’s Kori Cheverie also made some PWHL coaching history by being the first head female coach to win the championship.
Abby Roque scored twice to lead the Montreal Victoire.
Captain Clutch Marie-Philip Poulin was named the 2026 Ilana Kloss Playoff Most Valuable Player, as she recorded two goals and six assists over nine playoff games.
