CORRECTION: Hwy 104 westbound is now open near #EastMountain. Hwy 104 eastbound remains closed near East Mountain between exits 17 and 18 and is expected to be closed for several hours. Traffic is being diverted.

A section of Highway 104 just outside of Truro is closed following a crash.
Photos on social media show a LifeFlight helicopter landing at the scene between Exits 17 and 18 in East Mountain.
No word on the number of vehicles involved or the extent of injuries.
