Halifax Water will need to shut off water overnight (Monday into Tuesday) to some customers in the Lower Sackville, Waverley, Fall River and Windsor Junction areas.
Crews continue to repair the water main near the intersection of Cobequid Road and Glendale Avenue in Lower Sackville.
In an update, Halifax Water says service is not expected to be restored in that area until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29.
The utility recommends customers within the impacted areas consider limiting unnecessary water use to help extend the availability of service during the repair.
