
Annapolis District RCMP have charged a 65-year-old man with attempted murder.
RCMP were called to a report of shots being fired into a truck following an altercation at around 5 p.m. on Monday in Bear River East.
Police say two men had an argument earlier that day, and the victim was in his vehicle at a wood lot when the suspect showed up. He sustained minor injuries and drove away.
The suspect turned himself into police on Wednesday and was arrested.
Richard Edward Robbins of Bear River East has also been charged with careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and using a firearm in the commission of an offence.
Robbins was set to appear in Digby Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
