The Barn Coffee and Social House is a premium specialty coffeehouse serving their own line of exceptionally roasted coffees sourced from growers around the world. They also feature a brand new in house bakery headed up by executive baker Vanessa
MacDonald. The Barn is a great place to grab a coffee, hang out with friends or hunker down for a couple hours and forget time.
In the warmer months there is plenty of green space to enjoy a coffee and treats outside in the gardens where you can relax with your besties, family or put on a public display of solitude in their field of Forget-Me-Nots.
Mike and Amelia Bishop opened The Barn in 2017 with the goal of creating a singularly comfortable, relaxing and warm escape from the busy-ness of the world. In the spring of 2020 The Barn launched their coffee brand Sunday Silence and have been experimenting with different flavour profiles and pleasing customers with weekly fresh roasted coffees.
The Barn is located in a uniquely restored heritage barn on Main Street in Mahone Bay and are open everyday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
