
Suspected cocaine; from Canadian Border Services Agency
The Canada Border Services Agency officers have seized 54.7 kg suspected cocaine hidden in a shipping container in Halifax.
On Saturday, CBSA Waterfront Cargo Inspection Unit officers examined a shipping container at the Port of Halifax.
54.7 kg of suspected cocaine was seized by officers. The CBSA estimates this seizure to be valued at approximately $6.8 million.
The suspected drugs were turned over to the RCMP for further investigation.
