
Two announcements are on the horizon as the political parties hit the fourth day of campaigning in Nova Scotia.
NDP leader Gary Burrill is set to make a housing announcement in Halifax Needham at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Liberal leader Iain Rankin is in Amherst where he’ll unveil plans for the Cobequid Pass alongside Cumberland North candidate Bill Casey at 11:45 a.m.
Tory leader Tim Houston will start the day off with a prayer at Ummah Mosque at 8:30 a.m. before holding a media briefing in Halifax at 10 a.m.
All three leaders will also hit the streets for some campaigning.
The NDP vowed on Monday to permanently get rid of ambulance fees, while the PC’s said they would tackle wait times by “aggressively” recruiting and retaining doctors.
The Liberals promised a $45 million five-year plan for a sustainable innovation rebate program to help modernize equipment across various industries, including agriculture and high-tech aerospace.
The election is set for August 17th.
